Lorenzo Jackson joined me to discuss the process of creating the Elk Grove Royals, the AAU organization he is the Founder and Director of! He is a former college basketball player and has used the success principles he obtained through sports to help him be successful in all aspects of life. We discuss what motivated him to start his organization after moving back to Sacramento 3 years ago from Redding, as well as how much the game(AAU specifically) has changed. He has put together an organization with coaches who have had success as former college players and created a culture with the Elk Grove Royals that emphasizes family, unity, progression, and growth on and off the court.
