Wayne Penello is the president and founder of Risked Revenue Energy Associates (or “R squared”), a firm that develops financial solutions in the energy-trading/marketing arena for corporations and private equity firms. He is the ForbesBooks co-author, with Andrew Furman, of “Risk Is an Asset: Turning Commodity Price Uncertainty into a Strategic Advantage.” In 2010, Penello was awarded a patent for R^2’s methodology for quantifying risk, the “Performance Risk Management System.” R^2 currently assists clients with the management of more than $65 billion in assets. Working with R^2’s analytics, these clients have generated more than $10 Billion in gains through their risk management activities.
