Having arrived in Italy after Albania’s civil war in 1997, she has built a multi-faceted career as a digital strategist, historian, philosopher, journalist, documentary maker, and blogger.

She is UN ambassador for the “Connect Albania,” project, which connects the Albanian diaspora to its young entrepreneurs, and is a partner at two Italian startups, Coderblock, known as the Italian metaverse, and Creation Dose, a Martech startup that connects brands to generation Z.

In this conversation, Anita shares her inspiring account of what it was like to start over at 11, and how she built a path to leave a legacy in their newfound home.
