Penielle, native of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and childhood friend of Josue joins us. Penielle shares her story of family immigrating from Congo to Belgium to the United States and her thoughts on the positive parts of Congolese and American cultures. We discuss the available opportunities in America, how to live in a multicultural society, and the need for equal, but not equitable, representation in media, and the need to partner that representation with involvement by successful individuals in local communities.
