This week, continuing our tour of state's spirits, we sample Far North Spirits' limited release Roknar Maryland-style Rye Whiskey.  It's a single source whiskey grown, milled, fermented and distilled on the Red River Valley Swanson Farm.  It is the northern most distillery in the Contiguous US where the family owned farm grows and distills everything in-house.  The rye we sampled is aged for 16 months in oak and finished in cognac casks.  Notes can be found here.
