Will and I met back in the day; myself a fresh high schooler and Will, a Year 10 canteen-dweller. The two of us chatted and became quite close - my first genuine friendship in high school that was with someone outside of my own cohort.

Once Will graduated, the two of us lost touch, until a cheeky request fell my way on the Gram. Since then, we have rekindled our friendship and recently started training at the gym together. For myself and Will, this chat was definitely a much needed catchup for the both of us, where I learned about the copious amount of life-threatening injuries that he has faced over the years under his apprenticeship - and the resilience he has demonstrated to overcome the trauma and recovery necessary to continue with his lifestyle.
