I was 18 years old, I had never left the United States before, and I decided to go to Turkey and India all by myself to model. For 4 months I lived and worked overseas and I experienced so much. There were so many difficult, scary, and uncomfortable circumstances, and I have some pretty wild stories, but I am thankful for every moment of it. 

5 lessons I learned during this time are 1) Feel the fear and do it anyway, 2) Get comfortably uncomfortable, 3) The biggest risks make the best stories, 4) This too shall pass, and 5) Character is currency.
