This week Amanda is…drumroll please…her own guest! In this episode, we get a look behind the scenes of her journey to Broadway and acting on screen, as well as the story of her life and heart change through when she came to faith in Jesus. Amanda also answers fan questions! 

Amanda Jane Cooper is most known for her portrayal of Glinda in WICKED on Broadway, serving as the show’s 15th Anniversary and Commercial Glinda and as one of the longest running actors to have ever played the role. You’ve seen Amanda on shows like “Glee", “Jessie" on Disney, “Selfie" on ABC, “Bones", “CSI", "Law & Order: SVU", "Hello Ladies" on HBO and more; and several films like "Smart People" with Sarah Jessica Parker & Dennis Quaid, "Cavemen" with Chad Michael Murray, "First One In" with Kat Foster, "The Michaels" on Hallmark, "Homecoming" on Lifetime and more. Having also performed across the U.S. in both the 1st and 2nd National Tours of WICKED, you can Amanda her as the face of Glinda in the show's national commercials and billboards in Times Square. In 2019 she appeared as a closing night guest in Kristin Chenoweth's FOR THE GIRLS on Broadway. Amanda is an alum of Carnegie Mellon University and holds a BFA in Acting & Musical Theatre.

Her Instagram comedy #TheBaeSeries keeps fans laughing and her solo cabaret “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”, which debuted at 54 Below in New York City, invites us into a story of hope and redemption in her life. Her I Am Second testimony film can be viewed below.
