This week we speak with the wonderful Amy Conachan. Amy is a stage and television actress who graduated with a BA in Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2015 and has since worked companies including Graeae and A Play, A Pie and A Pint. From 2014 - 2016, Amy played the part of Laura in our "rude, ribald andโจ hilariously off-colour" sex comedy Wendy Hoose, written by Johnny McKnight. As if starring in one of our shows wasn't enough of a career highlight ๐ Amy is now best known for playing science teacher, Courtney Campbell, in the Channel 4 show Hollyoaks.
The discussion covers how to rehearse 'finger-banging', how Glaswegian gags translate to a Spanish audience and the differenceof working on a play compared to a TV soap.
