Deep conviction that conversion is the work of God alone does not exclude human instrumentality in the process of conversion; rather, it elevates our view of the role of Gospel preaching and witnessing. Define the character of true Gospel preaching, including the 'Gospel offer' as a call to sinners to come to Christ, but without giving sinners the impression they have any power to save themselves. Give a Biblical warrant for reasoning and persuasion in gospel ministry and a dedicated evangelistic service. Address errors often made in the approach to Gospel work including Hyper-Calvinism & Decisionism.
