Game Theory is the study of optimal strategic decision making and resulting multiplayer equilibria in a multitude of environments and scenarios known as games. In the world of computer science this has an impact on artificial intelligence, multi-agent systems, distributed systems, and internet protocols to name but a few branches. Outside of computer scienece it is an important study of decision making and strategising in economics and political science.
