Today we’re going to talk about Efficiency vs Effectiveness.

Peter Drucker said it perfectly when he states, “Efficiency is doing the thing right. Effectiveness is doing the right thing.”

Efficiency and effectiveness are some of the most-used “leadership buzzwords” throughout the past two decades—especially since Lean Manufacturing became a mainstream concept.

However, I believe, that efficiency and effectiveness are also two of the most confounded words.
