Justin Sinclair is a senior at North Gwinnett high school, and is a very close friend of mine. He was born in Atlanta, and lived in Dekalb until 2nd grade, going to private school so I could be a grade ahead. He then finally moved to Gwinnett in 3rd grade and went to Riverside. Justin was pursuing engineering and coding; he participated in rocketry, Duke TIP and in Charge North the STEM program at North Gwinnett High School. Justin believed that in doing these things, it influenced his growing interest in cars and racing, especially Formula 1. Related to his interest in coding, he had two of the raspberry pi programs and made his own code in java for personal entertainment.
However, Justin shifted over to medical, because he wanted to go into a more bio chemical job. He has an interest in biology, and specifically wants to be a dermatologist because of albinism. Justin also has a history of learning many foreign languages: he spoke Spanish at a school level from 1st to 3rd, and took a Mandarin class in 2nd grade. He also took Latin throughout middle school and the first half of high school and still regularly use some words in place of English at home. Right now, his attempting to learn Japanese. Justin was also in band for middle school and joined back in for marching and concert band just this year. He has been very active in extracurriculars this year, participating in debate and student council, and is an editor for the fine arts of the yearbook
He has been a relay for life executive for 2 consecutive school years, and is an advocate for American Cancer Society and other cancer relief related programs. Outside of school, he has a passion for screenwriting and has numerous scripts that he’s worked on. Consequently, he has one big project that has over 200 characters in it, stemming from his interest in comics. And lastly, he is a mild advocate for climate change
In today's episode, we dive deep into the story of Justin characters, his reasons and motivations for why he does what he does, and his opinions on environmentalism.
