We are told to treat others like we want to be treated. We are commanded to love our neighbors as ourselves. But what if my neighbor is a jerk? What if their yard is littered with signs that endorse a candidate or an ideology I don’t agree with? Am I just supposed to ignore that? How do I love someone who is on the opposing side? How do I love someone who is unlovable?

Sometimes we say that if God would only show us which way to go-if He would give us a neon sign or something--we would gladly go. But is that really true? What if the neon sign is pointing at your neighbor’s front door?

Today we are going to talk about the very real issues that come up when we are trying to genuinely love our neighbor. And who better to teach us about that than…Jonah?
