徐程，生活并工作于上海的声音艺术家、研究者。自2000年代初持续开展声音相关创作与研究，其实践涵盖噪音、实验音乐、自由即兴、实地录音及电子音乐等多个领域。
其研究与创作围绕声音的感知、媒介与社会维度展开，关注声音如何参与空间生产、社会关系建构及知识生成过程。同时，他将文本视为一种特殊的声音场域，持续探索语言、书写与阅读中的声音性，以及声音在不同媒介之间的迁移、转译与再生产机制。
通过装置、表演、音乐、剧场与写作等跨媒介实践，徐程试图重新审视声音作为经验、事件与方法的可能性，并探讨其在当代文化语境中的批判潜能与美学价值。
Xu Cheng is a sound artist and researcher based in Shanghai. Since the early 2000s, he has maintained an ongoing practice in sound-based creation and research, working across noise, experimental music, free improvisation, field recording, and electronic music.
His artistic and research interests focus on the perceptual, medial, and social dimensions of sound, examining how sound participates in the production of space, the construction of social relations, and processes of knowledge formation. He is particularly interested in text as a distinctive sonic field, exploring the sonic qualities of language, writing, and reading, as well as the migration, translation, and reproduction of sound across different media.
Through interdisciplinary practices that encompass installation, performance, music, theatre, and writing, Xu Cheng seeks to reconsider sound as experience, event, and methodology, while investigating its critical potential and aesthetic significance within contemporary cultural contexts.
