Graeme Meiklëjøhn is the principal cinematographer for Origin Outside Whistler, BC who got his start in filming through skiing, in particular, freestyle and urban. For those of you that don't ski, urban is like the skateboarding of the ski world - think jumping off buildings, and hitting features that never thought they'd be graced by a pair of skis. 

We chat about how film festivals are a space for many up and coming athletes and filmers to cut their teeth, how the grit and perseverance from these activities set you up for success later on and what it's like skiing and biking with a camera bag on your back.
