On this episode of the How To: Business Show, Dan Pellissier, Senior Director of Real Estate Development at Zaxby's, discusses the ins and outs of the franchise business and real estate development. Dan is a 20-year veteran of the commercial real estate community having led regional, national, and international growth for brands such as The Home Depot, PPG Paints, Liquor Barn, Qdoba, and Jack in the Box. His current role, Dan serves as Sr. Director of Real Estate for the Georgia-based Zaxby’s restaurant company. Joining the iconic brand in November 2020, Dan has been instrumental in designing and implementing the brand’s national growth plan which helped propel the brand into 910-unit (in 17 states) In December 2020, Zaxby’s was acquired by majority investor Goldman Sachs. Since that launch Dan is tasked with targeting significant incremental growth over the next 5 years. Dan lives in Louisville, KY with his wife Leann and their three children.
