Once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior and ask for forgiveness for your sins, it is now a process of sanctification that you will go through to be more like Christ. Don't be alarmed if you don't feel different or if you find yourself going back to what you once did after saying YES to Jesus. God says come as you are, but once you accept his son Jesus, you will not stay as you are. You will shed your old habits and old ways and start to have a mind of Christ. It's a beautiful process, almost like a caterpillar forming into a beautiful butterfly. Through this process continue to stay focused on God as the enemy will try to distract you immensely. God will and always is your strength in times of weaknesses.
