Welcome to Lessons From the Dean. My name is Reid linot and for this podcast I interviewed my grandpa and friend Dr. Jim Rhatigan. Known affectionately as “Dean Rhatigan” he spent his career at Wichita State University as the Dean of students and later the senior vice president. While there he would become known as the heart of WSU, not only for his knowledge and insight, but also for his unconditional caring for the individual student. My grandfather will be remembered for many things including his wisdom, compassion and humor. The hope of this podcast is to share his stories and lessons.
