Joining Maria we have Karina Alvarez, who through a light-hearted chat gives us a feel of what the life of a professional ballet dancer is like. Karina is originally from Medellin, Colombia, and after graduating from high school she moved to New York City, where she now lives, on a full merit scholarship to study at the Joffrey Ballet School in their four-year Ballet Trainee Program.
