My guest on this episode is Kerrie Taylor. Kerrie is a teacher and a Mum, who is also deaf. In this interview, she discusses what it was like for her growing up, the many challenges that deaf children face and what helped her to ultimately embrace her deaf identity. She also explains how her experiences inspired her to publish bilingual children's books that include Auslan signs, to help support deaf children and their families. Her books have gone on to have such a positive impact on so many people's lives.
