At university, Fazil Fuad watched Steve Jobs present the first iPhone.  Recognising the life altering power of mobile computing. He quickly found a few like minded friends and ventured into the mobile app development space right after graduating design studies in Australia. It was then, C27 was born.   While working to get the C27 off the ground, an opportunity of his lifetime happened when was headhunted by Rocket Internet to join the founding  Southeast Asia team that launched Lazada & Zalora.

A few years later, fresh off a USD$350mio investment and hitting 2000 employees across SEA, Fazil left the regional office in Singapore to return to C27 as CEO; this time armed with  expertise & experience in scaling world class digital first companies.   C27 is a digital enablement firm based in Kuala Lumpur, specializing in “digital first” performance marketing, branded content production and user experience design. Over the years they’ve done work for clients such as Netflix, Spotify, McDonald’s, U Mobile, Maybank, Honda, Hong Leong Bank, Petronas and Monin.
