4: My Spiritual Awakening, Part 2!

In this episode, I continue sharing my spiritual awakening journey, diving into the catalyst that deepened my exploration and the misconceptions I encountered along the way. I also reflect on the peace and understanding this journey brought, while acknowledging the challenges that came with it.     • Introduced to the Universe, crystals, and astrology (I’d always felt drawn to astrology but hadn’t explored it deeply, thinking it was silly)
    • Conversations about witchcraft—initial discomfort, but research resonated with my core values:

    • Misconceptions:

      • Generally, witchcraft isn’t evil, but the veil is thinner, which could allow evil in if not taking appropriate protections
      • Historical context: Wise women and community healers have been suppressed
      • Misunderstandings about the Devil and Death cards in tarot
      • Many witches are Christians working with saints, archangels, Mary Magdalene, Mother Mary, Christ Consciousness, and more—I work with St. Bernadette sometimes
      • The unnecessary mindset of “I’m right, you’re wrong”

      • Resolution:

        • My awakening brought peace and understanding, though it was accompanied by fear for a while
        • Like my mental health awakening, I realized this progression was meant to help others who feel similarly out of sync with those around them, to normalize it
        • Encouragement to explore your spirituality if you feel called—I won’t convince you to follow a certain path, but I want you to find what works for you and causes no harm
        • Emphasis on personal alignment and self-discovery
