Kate Had Me Meet.... Kate! :)

With this week being spring break for my children, I took a time-out from production to spend extra time with the kids. I asked my friends Resa and Erika from the Colombian Influence podcast for some assistance. They shared the audio from my recent interview to share with you. Instead of me asking the questions, the questions were asked of me. Please help me thank them by finding Colombian Influence on social media and your podcasting platform. Listen in to their work in supporting adoptees, holding space for powerful testimonies, and honoring the entire adoption triad.

I have four biological children and two children via adoption from Haiti. Originally, Resa and Erika interviewed me to learn more about my move from rural Minnesota to the metropolitan Minneapolis area. Their questions really gave me a chance to unpack a LOT of what I have seen and learned over the years in regards to race and adoption. It was a bit unexpected for us all; I'm so honored and thankful to have had the chance to discuss this with them... and you.
