DubForm is back with a brand new E.P release from Outsider. The Canadian talents have put together a deep, dark and heavy collection of tracks that are filled with huge bass and momentous beats. Accompanying Outsider on ‘Forbidden Empire’ and ‘Fear the 8th’ is another Canadian artist – L NIX. There is also another feature by Beatsmith on ‘Dance of Shiva’.

Forbidden Empire’ has a very clear oriental influence with a light and free flowing melody which accompanies a quick and fast plucked string underlay. The laidback deep beat compliments these parts perfectly to create a very unique vibe for the track. ‘Fear the 8th’ contains a heavy repetitive bass and with a beat that shares all the best characteristics from ‘Forbidden Empire’.

‘Dance of Shiva’ shares a similar oriental feel to track 1 with a free flowing melody that is accompanied by a dark and heavy prolonged bass, showing that this track really means business. The ominous bass is a theme throughout that accompanies the melody in a perfect juxtaposition. The final track ‘Voodoo Jungle’ contains a hypnotic melody alongside weighty subs.
