This weekend we continue in our fall campaign series called PERFECT LOVE. This will be the fourth message in this series as we work our way through 1 John. In this series we want everyone in our church to experience the power of perfect love. God's love changes everything in our lives and this weekend we will learn about how it transforms us. God's love awakens us to understand who we were really created to be. God created us to reflect him and so in and through Jesus our sins can be forgiven and our spirits can be brought to life. This work of God allows us to be called children of God.

1 John 3:1 tells us this fact, we can see how much the father loves us because he calls us his children. Being called children of God gives us a new identity. Your identity will determine how you live and so having this new identity calls us into a different way of life. As a child of God you have fellowship or a relationship with him. The evidence that you have a relationship with God is revealed in how you live, especially how you act towards others. A relationship with God will drastically change these things.

Join us this weekend as we learn how our new identity changes us by transforming our behavior away from sin and towards obedience to Jesus.
