After a lengthy career as a TV news reporter and anchor, Steve Trainor decided to put his journalism skills to use by interviewing families and documenting their stories on video. His northwest Illinois-based business, Remember Your Life Video, aims to capture people's accounts of their lives so they can be shared for generations. In this episode, Steve talks about his process – including some prompts he provides his interviewees – and why it's important to gather our family members' stories. Furthermore, he shares tips on how anyone can begin collecting memories of their loved ones.
