Are there times when you feel like loving God is just not that easy? When it feels like the harder you try, the more distant He feels. When it feels like maybe you’re just not cut out for a life of faith, because who could keep up with this kind of crazy love for God?

If we’re being honest, that feeling creeps up on us from time to time. Maybe even more than occasionally. Maybe even often. But in those moments, how can we lean into loving God a little bit more each day? How can we find ways to love Him even when it’s hard?

We know the Bible says that if we keep our eye on Him and seek His presence above all else, then nothing will be able to separate us from His love (Romans 5:10).
