4 Reasons Why it is Important to be Aware of Bioengineered Ingredients in Your Foods
Today lets chat about labels. There are so many things you should look for on labels in the ingredients section that so many people don’t look at.
Sucralose
Aspartame
The word artificial
Corn (unless organic and certified non gmo)
SOY
But also ‘ingredients derived from bioengineered source’ it’s literally on the back of the label and that is what it will say! It means that it was engineered in a LAB! They’re genetically modified. They’re bioengineered.
Have you seen QR codes lately on labels? SCAN THEM! :)
They changed the definition from GMO to bioengineered. Why? So that they don’t have to tell you outright that some items are genetically modified....
