I try to take in a fair amount of information when I'm reading or surfing the web so that I can expand my horizon on how I view the world. The more I know, the better my conversations can be and the more competent I become. I hope to bring interesting things up to the people I speak to, not only to maybe educate them but also to hear an outside perspective that isn't in my head.
