We get into St Andrews and we are at levels of excitement that haven't been seen on a golf course.

From the perfect lunch spot, to fantastic weather in the morning and great recommendations from staff at the Old Pavilion, things start off so well.

Then the weather kicks in on the first tee box and we are floundering in the waters of the sea side town......but nothing can bring the spirits down.

This is the first day in St Andrews.
