Years ago my friend Paul Taylor gave me a book "Brain Lock", by Dr. Jeffrey Schwartz. The 4 steps outlined in that book helped me with a couple of the more stressful aspects of Tourette's.
You may not suffer from Tourette's or clinical Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). However, most of us at some point experience thought patterns that are not only exhausting, and frustrating, but can be counter productive in our daily life as well. 1. Re-labelling
2. Re-attributing
3. Re-focusing
4. Re-valuing
