"Innovation can be about taking a closer look to something old and creating something new from that – and using technology to do so." - An architectural technologist and biobased designer working with seaweed and eelgrass, Kathryn Larsen, aka the Seaweed Girl, joins Eniko Toth for the podcast today. Kathryn took inspiration from the ancient Danish building design and implemented it in our world of regulations in the building industry. She is a sustainability leader and changemaker. She now tries to gain awareness of this new way of construction across the planet. She has been featured by MOOT in Denmark and she was a speaker at Antenna 2019. She has travelled to the Netherlands, South Africa, London to present her project. 

This episode is about sustainability and taking care of our planet. It is about the change we need in our industry and the innovative ideas that get us there. I believe that we should learn something old every day and reflect on our past to build a better and more successful future.
