Self-care is more important than most people realize... its more than just getting your workout in, eating healthy, and sleeping 8 hours a day. Self-care is about creating the life you don't feel the need to regularly check out of when you reach burnout. Its about prioritizing what makes you truly happy in the long run, making the choices you may not initially be excited about, but you know you will benefit from. You may think this is a very easy thing to achieve, however, pressure is our biggest competitor and affects taking care of ourselves in a wide range of ways.
