Prayer changes a church when a church trusts and prays together. The power behind the conversion of the lost lies with the Lord, not the preacher, his words or ways, or even the magnificence of the church. It is God who saves. And the principles of prayer apply to the lost as well. Therefore, a church should pray for boldness in the preacher, and a mighty work of God in the audience. Praying for the lost results in conversions when the trust is in the LORD.
