Spoiler: the point is that there is no quick-fix ritual on the paths of yoga and spirituality. I detail my experience with feeling pain, wanting to come up with some quick ritual to make the pain go away and how that desire relates to the commodification of spiritual growth. Then, we go into a body-scan meditation to practice willingness to be as we are and who we are, even if it's uncomfortable, without needing to fix ourselves at all.
