As a first generation college student navigating my career and life after college was definitely a learning experience. I made plenty of mistakes, felt all the feelings, and of course felt as though I was navigating this alone! Well here's the top 4 things I wish someone would have told me as I was fresh into my life after college.

  • Your first job will NOT be your last job
  • Your major does NOT determine your career path. 
  • Remember that everyone started from somewhere 
  • Always have something to say in meetings, at events, at conferences etc.
