Episode 9: We are all guilt of it – resorting to screens to entertain our children. Whether it’s the iPad, TV, video games or other tablet we use these distractions to keep our child busy while we go about our parenting duties. Maybe we are working from home, cooking and doing other chores, or just need a quiet break. Many of us chose to not go full screen free life, and that is okay! But as parents we do need to foster a love of learning and model for our children appropriate social interactions which can be difficult to do with screens.

 In this episode I talk about 4 places that can be screen free to promote social interactions, vocabulary development, spatial awareness, and connecting with our children.
