I focus on my mom and how I didn't truly grasp the emotional aspect she went through. I share anecdotes about her attempts to pack up her homeland in a suitcase; it would embarrass me. Ultimately, I come to realize that my mom isn't as annoying as I once thought; she's just... my (immigrant) mom.
