Today we talk about when Christians struggle....when life gets hard for a believer. Many of us believe that the painful circumstances or the disappointing news in life is a direct result of a lack of faith, or lack of righteousness, or just simply 'missing it' in God's eyes.

In today's episode, Terry and I talk about the tendency we have to START with grace in our walk with Christ but then PROCEED with a peformance-based theology. We can't help but measure and compare and look for outward behaviors to prove ourselves worthy. And it doesn't stop there—we judge everyone in light of this mindset…and we judge ourselves--and we judge God!
