Alma Besserdin was born in the Former Yugoslavia where she left for the "freedom" that Australia has to offer. 

She became an Australia Day Ambassador and in 2020 publicly resigned to Daniel Andrews as she felt ashamed to represent a government that is not representing its people.

She left her home country because of civil war and the loss of human rights only to experience it once again in a supposed "free nation and lucky country." She witnessed Melbourne Australia, once one of the most "liveable cities" in the world becoming oppressed and unliveable.

Alma has started a group with other like minded individuals called "Australian Frontline Health Professionals" with the hope of creating new ways as the existing systems crumble around us.
