The 2020 Smart Folio Keyboard Case was first announced in March 2020 with an original release date for May, but it was pushed back to mid-April for preorders later on. It was the first of Apple’s new cases to take on some MacBook style features, with a trackpad which had been added, and it also has a USB-C port which can be used for charging your iPad through the case.

It is compatible with:

• The 4th Generation 2020 11" iPad Pro
• The 3rd Generation 11" iPad Pro
• The 2nd Generation 11" iPad Pro
• The 2018 11" iPad Pro
• The iPad Air 5th Generation
• The iPad Air 4th Generation

You can also get versions of the case for a 12" iPad Pro, but if you want to buy one, you'd have to buy a different size.
