Elyce Phillips comes to town to offer Mayor Ashley help (which she'll later regret) when womens empowerment advocate and leader Cynthia Erivo - no relation (played by Kate Denhert) stops by, sharing her harrowing origin story. After discovering what made her the woman she is today, the three friends get 10 basketballs and try to reenact the traumatic events that turned Cynthia from a childhood bully, to an adulthood bitch (compliment).
