Episode 40: Choosing to Be Single by Choice, Celibate and Child-Free In Your Late 30s with Mary Miranda (solo).
.
I wanted to share my own journey on being single by choice, celibate and child free in my late 30s. There's a lot of shame and stigma women receive for not conforming to societal expectations of being married, having children and raising a family. I have never thought of myself as a woman that subjects to fit into a box of societal expectations and standards, yet I have fallen for its tactics. But, once you get clear on who you are and realize you don't fit into this idea, you set your own path. I hope this resonates with anyone who has been shamed and trolled for being in your 30s, 40s or any age and choosing to be single, celibate and childfree.
