Zach @mr.ekos_tx loves his New Balance, is no stranger to Air Jordans, but prides himself on being different. That’s why he owns brands like Etonic, Ellesse, Brooks, Avia, Sonra and Mizuno, and models like the ACG Air Trigo and Air Zoom Citizenare staples in his collection. Zach is all over the place when it comes to footwear, and that’s the way he likes it.

He wears every pair he owns, even that means restoring old and very hard-to-find pairs, and his impressive collection wasn’t formed with money alone, but also a lot of hunting and negotiating.

Zach talks about his first love: graffiti, meaningful sneakers like the Air Jordan 4 from 1989 and OG New Balance 992 from 2006, recovery and support within the sneaker community, and losing his Dominique Wilkins Reebok Twilight Zone Pumps as a punishment, and having to wear his stepmom’s pastel green Reebok Freestyles instead.
