Joe R. Lansdale is probably the greatest writer who has ever lived. Okay, strike that "probably" from the last sentence. His fiction is often difficult to describe, as he tends to say, "Screw you," to genre expectations and write whatever the hell he pleases. Recently he released his cult-favorite Drive-In trilogy as a single omnibus, so I invited him on the podcast to discuss its origins.
