Will the first suitable for everyday use AR glasses be brought to us by Pokemon Go? Niantic and Qualcomm are working on making this come true! And what happens if code generators start building, fixing, and updating code independently? Project Pitchfork by Alphabet is working on something like that. And what's the latest from Elon Musk and his verification opera? We soon might get a colorful gallery of checkmarks.

01:25 - Niantic, Qualcomm Partner for Snapdragon Hardware Scalability
14:23 - Google Is Secretly Developing Artificial Intelligence That Can Write Its Own Code
28:48 - Elon Musk says Twitter's new multicoloured verification will launch next week
Summary:
Last Wednesday, augmented reality (AR) software studio Niantic partnered with Qualcomm to leverage the latter’s Snapdragon Spaces extended reality (XR) platform for geotagged immersive content and supporting hardware. The partnership sees Niantic integrate its Lightship Visual Positioning System (VPS) — a service for designing and distributing location-based AR content — into Snapdragon to optimize immersive content distribution. The firm will fully integrate its AR software development kit (SDK) onto Qualcomm Technologies’ Snapdragon Spaces platform in 2023.
Google is running a secret project to develop a neural network-based code generator that will be able to build, fix, and update code independently. According to reports, the code generator project codenamed Pitchfork originated from Alphabet’s X research division. It is still unknown at what stage the development of the Google code generator is.
After messing up the first launch of Twitter’s “power to the people” verification system, Elon Musk said that the social network will tentatively roll out a new multicolored verification system next week. Musk added that the company aims to manually authenticate all verifications before the new verification system goes live. It’s not clear what he means by that as Twitter Blue subscribers will get a blue checkmark.
