This episode of TGP features a conversation with peace activist and public speaker Jo Berry. Jo's father, Sir Anthony Berry MP was killed in the 1984 IRA bombing of the Brighton Grand Hotel when Jo was just 27 years old. This event inevitably left a great deal of trauma in its wake, which Jo would begin to unravel some years later when she reached out to meet Patrick Magee, the man responsible for planting the bomb that killed her father. Rather than anger, the pair communicated with empathy and commitment to the peace process. Since their first meeting, Jo and Patrick have appeared together on countless media and stage engagements; promoting peace and empathy over anger and division.

Andy and Jo discuss all things all around the life and death of Anthony, building bridges for peace, and how the english language has not yet invented a word to describe their inspirational relationship.
