PARABLE OF THE WEEDS (Matthew 13: 24-30; 36-43)

What do Fat Hen, Groundsel, Goosegrass, Hairy Bittercress, Prickly Milk, Oxalis, and Bugloss have in common?
They’re all weeds!

And I bet they grow in your garden, unless your name is «insert you own name here if you pride yourself as a weed-destroyer!»
I must say, I’ve all but given up on this mission in the Manse Garden. I’ve surrendered to the Couch grass and Chickweed… Mind you, I had real
fun firing up the Butane Weedkiller Wand. The Dandelions in the drive-way didnae stand a CHANCE!
But you know what, I often find it hard to pull out weeds, especially when they have pretty flowers… are we really meant to kill all of 'em?
Do some not create a healthy habitat for insect species?
In the passage for Sunday from Matthew 13 we’re looking at a parable where the Landowner specifically calls for his servants NOT to pull out
the weeds...
Why would he instruct that?
