Focusing all her energy in pursuing medicine as a career, left her with little time for anything else. After almost 10 years in practice, she found herself busier than ever, managing a full-time practice, 2 small kids and a household. During the COVID-19 pandemic being on the forefront as an essential worker, she was challenged with the hard realization that her financial future and freedom was not in her control. Determined to take charge, she committed herself to become educated on investing, particularly value investing as preached by gurus such as Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Mohnish Pabrai and many more.
